Re: Russell Kane
Is he the one whose act revolves (or at least used to) a lot about his relationship with his dad?

Never found him funny TBH.

I absolutely can't stand him

Re: Russell Kane
I think he's very funny. His latest social media rant about this momo hoax was extremely funny.

In my humble opinion.

Big black lady

Re: Russell Kane
We are all on his video he done at the Palace Theatre a few years back... thought he was very very good... lot of his set is/was about this area so obviously we would find it highly hysterical where as someone from hackney would not have a clue what would be going on...

Re: Russell Kane
Was going on about Barking a lot and made some jokes about Spurs, naturally thought he must be West Ham

Northern Sold 5:20 Tue Mar 5
Re: Russell Kane
The jokes were more about Thorpe bay, Basildon & canvey. when we went and saw him it was the Smokescreen and castles tour... lot about his old Man... I enjoyed

He's very funny imho.
In your face and very topical.Works bloody hard at his act.My daughter saw him at the Palace theatre a few years back she thought he was at the Cliffs so got their late.
He stopped his routine whilst her and her boyfriend shuffled into their seats three rows from the front.
He didn't leave them alone after that she said he was hilarious without being nasty to them.

Re: Russell Kane
Terrible, but remarkably only the second worst UK comedian called Russell.

Re: Russell Kane
He has been around forever

He used to have floppy curtains

He then slicked his hair and put on a very camp act and pretending he was in his 20s

The bbc then have him a boost

He is average, sometimes funny, much older than he states and far too old to act like the teenager he thinks he is

Vexed 8:23 Tue Mar 5
Re: Russell Kane
His material is contrived, his delivery is horrible and rather irritating and having met him I can honestly say he is every bit as irksome and punchable in his off stage persona. A proper up himself cunt.

It's a fucking travesty that people like this are making a living and playing big venues when bonafide geniuses like Paul Foot go on largely unrecognised. What can you do with the British public? Fuckwits.

Re: Russell Kane
He can be really funny but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a ticket.

The high energy act is obviously inspired by Lee Evans. Seann Walsh does it too but he is possibly the unfunniest cunts around...and I came to that conclusion before his strictly come dancing shenanighans.

Re: Russell Kane
All this time I thought this thread was about Russell Howard, I get those two mixed up every time. Both cunts.

Re: Russell Kane
Don't find him funny at all. In fact all the comedians that started out seemingly on I'm a celeb Dommett, Beckett, that Geordie fella, none I find funny at all.

Yeh, find some of his stuff hilarious at times.

I remember him being "The Flying Eye" on the Capital Radio Breakfast show with Chris Tarrant back in the late 80's. He's as funny as haemorrhoids!

Re: Russell Kane
I am too old and find him slightly annoying rather than funny although he can be quick when he is in a conversation he was good when he did the after show in i'm a celebrity.
I think I agree with your missus but I have no doubt my kids who are over 20 would like him quite a lot.
